What would compel someone to enter THAT? There is a small place in Maryland (Crisfield) that bills itself as the Blueclaw Crab Capital of the World. They have a Crab Festival every year where they crown Miss Crustacean. My rural county's AG Fair has beauty pageants for 3 age groups. The youngest is crowned Miss Squash Blossom.
LOL……that’s the 50’s for ya. As if any guy could miss it however, her uh….appearance was quite revealing for the early 50’s although to think about it, Hefner’s first copy of Playboy came out in Dec. of ‘53.
