It should be no surprise that the NIH and the Wuhan lab were both working on Monkeypox for years. I have a strong feeling that most - if not all - of the viruses that have been heralded as pandemics over the past couple of decades (or longer), as well as some others that have fizzled, have been concocted or made more dangerous by friends of Dr. Fauci. I say this, working on the assumption that if the intentions were for good, the NIH would not be working in conjunction with the Wuhan lab. You may disagree, or argue that the Chinese are our friends.

WHO is gonna change the name of this virus (and others) because the names are "racist." Apparently there was an "international backlash" for naming diseases for their region/country/continent-of-origin. Some have pointed out that this type of thinking is in itself racist--taken from a Euro-centric worldview--indicating "the attitude of the beholder."
If you are going to say that monkeypox is racist, aren't you equating monkeys with a specific race of people? Monkeys live on all continents except for Australia and the Antarctic, so there's nothing inherent to race. If the monkeys are complaining, what's next? Chickens?
Now the "Health Czar" of NYC is demanding that the name be changed. “Continuing to use the term ‘monkeypox’ to describe the current outbreak may reignite these traumatic feelings of racism and stigma — particularly for Black people and other people of color, as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ communities, and it is possible that they may avoid engaging in vital health care services because of it.” #1: How damned condescending is it to suggest that purported adults will not seek care when they contract a disease because of it's name? Why are these "communities" not outraged? #2: How does the name "monkeypox" slander gay people? #3: I've not heard this disease affect anyone in any numbers except gay men, so why are blacks, "other people of color," lesbians, et al getting thrown into the mix? #4: What the heck is a "health czar"? For a people who hate Russia so much, they sure got a lot of czars.
It seems it is an attempt to create another health crisis while throwing sexism, racism, and "homophobia" into the mix to get the ignorant behind the movement.
Unlike Florida, the media apparently had a real Don't Say Gay policy in place. It took 2 months to warn the gay community about this because the bigoted media would rather watch gay men get sick and spread disease than issue a simple warning or just state the facts. Link
