Worryingly, one school district in Maryland is acting like parental rights are no longer valid. In Montgomery County, Maryland, educators are actively keeping information about something as critical as a student’s gender identity preference hidden from parents—an action in direct contravention of legally guaranteed parental rights, and in violation of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. In response, two families have sued the Montgomery County Board of Education. The suit aims to enforce their rights to access information about their children’s gender identity, which is generated and retained by Montgomery County schools pursuant to a 2019 policy. This policy enables Montgomery County Board of Education personnel to evaluate minors about sexual matters, allows minors of any age to transition socially to a different gender identity at school without parental notice or consent, and requires personnel to facilitate the transition with the use of the child’s “preferred pronouns.” It also permits students to use the restroom that aligns with their “gender identity,” stating that while “some students may feel uncomfortable with a transgender student using the same sex-specific facility,” that “discomfort is not a reason to deny access to the transgender student. School administrators and counseling staff members, the policy states, should work with students to “address their discomfort to foster understanding of gender identity and to create a school culture that respects and values all students.” Certainly, the parents of students made to share sex-specific spaces with students of the opposite sex would want to know this information. But the Montgomery County Board of Education policy forbids it.

"They" have the money, the power, the media, the politicians, the doctors, the banks, the military, the corporations, ... ... ... so how on earth would the remaining "everyday Americans" win other than when "they" permit it for 'show'.? Haven't most 'Americans', whether everyday or not everyday types, given in to do what the 'state' says to do, and at least 50% are relying on the 'state' for their daily bread !? (so they won't oppose the 'state' because it risks losing their food, water, and home; as already happened to millions of actual citizens (not recent immigrants who are given everything they need, legal or illegal).
I posted a long reply answering your post in detail but I somehow lost it because of some mistake logging in or some other thing that I can't fathom. The gist of my reply was that your categorizations, such as 'money', 'power',media', etc. that the common people seemingly don't have control of, are not distortions, exactly, but widely misunderstood, let's say. We might have an idea of who holds power in this world but that idea ain't necessarily true. Total reality is beyond human ken. The upshot of my reply to you about the several was this, as simplistic as it sounds - there are more good people than bad and if those good people band together, they can't be beaten. The actions of satan or of God may supersede any human effort, but I know that good will prevail. I don't claim that my opinion here is rational nor documentable, just that I know it to be true in the depth of my heart.
But what good is it if good people fo not involve themselves with this new age madness? I have lots of opinions but no answers as most of you here know.
THe answers are from God, and are in Scripture, when God reveals His Word, and to those only to whom He reveals His Word. His Word, unchangeable, perfect, forever, says clearly that the wicked far outnumber the good people. Just like in the days of Noah, and like in sodom and gomorrah. Arkansas Ban on Gender Transition Treatments for Minors Hits Federal Court Reason Magazine October 17, 2022 In 2021, Arkansas passed the Save Adolescents From Experimentation (SAFE) Act. It prohibits doctors from providing "gender transition" care—which includes surgical procedures as well as less invasive options like puberty blockers and hormone treatments—to people under age 18. The ACLU of Arkansas gathered up a group of "doctors," parents and confused kids and successfully challenged this in U.S. District Court, which put a temporary halt to the law. The state appealed to to the 8th Circuit Court and lost: "The 8th Circuit panel agreed transgender children would suffer irreparable harm if the law took effect. The appellate panel also agreed that the law likely discriminated against Arkansans on the basis of sex." [Note the insanity that denying a minor access to genital mutilation would be causing "irreperable harm."] The case is now back before the same judge in U.S. District Court, with the trial expected to last throughout this week. Fifteen other states are contemplating similar legislation. I gotta think this will head to SCOTUS.
