The one most singular thing that saddened me about the Trump administration doesn’t have anything to do with Twitter or the whole Covid thing. Simply put, through all the campaign promises he kept, he didn’t keep his promise to assign s special prosecutor to go after Hillary and put her behind bars. I knew the minute he said it in a debate with Hillary that if he didn’t follow through with it then it would come back and bite him on the butt. Sure enough, Hillary had the Russian conspiracy hoax launched during her campaign and would last until the end of his Presidential term and beyond.
After this latest debacle and nothing being done about it, I have to question if we can hold out until 2024. The warrant issued for the raid on Trump's home did not specify exactly which documents he was suspected of having removed from the WH. Further, he, as president, had the power to declassify them if he so wished. Did he? I guess we will find out. Also, for the FBI to grab boxes of papers without verifying what they contained, is a blatant violation of the law. Unless those boxes were sitting opened and one could clearly determine what they were, they were sacrosanct belonging solely to Trump. My question is; where are all our so called knowledgeable Constitutional Lawyers addressing this situation right this moment? Judges should be issuing injunctions like crazy at the Gestapo like manner in which this is conducted. It makes me fearful since it could be any one of us in a like situation. The corruption emanating from all corners of politics these days is casting the most odious odor and pollution over not only our land, but the entire globe. Is no one brave enough to challenge this? We seem to be a society of cowards and sycophants.
I'm sure that no laws have been broken by former President Trump, but I am equally sure that - once again - there will be much ado about nothing from the corrupt Biden Administration They will invent something to use as an excuse to continue the persecution in the hopes of keeping him off the 2024 ballot and, in the meantime, they will pore through his personal documents looking for anything that could be used to embarrass him, which will then be leaked to the Democrat press. I truly believe that the former Soviet Union was more above board than the current United States government. I understand, as well, that the Washington DC field office of the FBI conducted the raid rather than a Florida office so that any legal proceedings from it would be heard by a Washington DC court, where almost no one voted for Trump, rather than a Florida one.
Interestingly, I heard one commentator say that he appears to be the cleanest politician in DC. He said the "state" controls the politics through blackmail and has since the J. Edgar Hoover days, but they appear to have nothing on Trump, so they make up stuff that falls flat after causing a lot of emotional trauma and government expense. He said there was a theory floating among the circle that the documents Trump didn't return pertained to Jeffrey Epstein. He said that is why Trump didn't declassify them prior to removing them from the White House (I don't understand that part) when he could have simply done so. That is what ties the judge to the documents; the documents may be related to the shenanigans that judge did when he switched sides from prosecutor to defense attorney during the Epstein negotiations.
CNN was notified about the raid before the Trumps and no lawyers were allowed to be present to help account for anything taken from the premises making it impossible to know exactly what was taken which makes for a very special problem. There is no way that the FBI would raid Trumps residence if they didn’t KNOW they would find something. Even if there’s nothing to find, they will “find” something. Even though the FBI apparently gave Trump’s lawyers a list of what they took, the list only said they took boxes but not what documentation was in those boxes. *It wouldn’t be the first time a law enforcement agency has raided a squeaky clean residence and found dope would it?* No matter what the outcome is, the MAGA people will be outraged. Just the raid alone and the way the FBI obtained a warrant is enough to tick people off. Bruce Reinhardt, the magistrate that was responsible for signing the warrant, is the same x-Federal Prosecutor Bruce Reinhardt that defended Epstein’s employees when they were popped for human trafficking. Add in if the FBI does find something incriminating then the word Framed will resonate throughout the U.S. which could be the last straw between peace and civil war.
Good morning to all- Bobby- I freely admit that we see the world through very different eyes. Let that be. I don't like "raids" but if the law enforcement people have just cause for a search, then they should search and report their findings. The former occupant has no more right to "non-search" by authorities than anyone else. But the thing that disturbs me most about your post is the last sentence. Do you really see "civil war" as a good thing? I would have thought after the thugs broke in to the House this spring and showed their true violent and mislead intentions that would have shown anyone with the sense God gave a goose that going armed against the government was a very. very bad thing. Bobby, in a "civil war" people die. Does that not mean anything to you? I worry for you, I do. good day to all- Ed
Where in my post do you see something so absurd as this gentleman preferring civil war over peace? Where did I even write that I WANT civil war? What I find MOST disturbing is the fact that your comprehension level is based on what you imagine what is being said or written rather than what is actually written. When I write, I LEAVE NOTHING nor ROOM to fill in ANY blanks so put on your readers, turn on a light and turn off your imagination and read what is there!! ****Way back when you used to teach, I certainly hope you were more adept at reading your student’s works for most certainly, if you performed as badly with theirs as you did reading mine then I know that some of your students were badly treated.
Correction on my part- The thugs did not break in this spring but last winter- sorry for the inaccuracy- Ed
Since it's "documents" they were supposedly looking for, those would be easy enough to manufacture or to take from elsewhere and claim that Trump had them in his home. Are you under the delusion that no one dies now? Secondly, how the hell do you read his post and come to these conclusions? Do you even bother to read the stuff you disagree with?
Good morning to all- Bobby, I read what is there. And I read very well, thank you. And according to all indications in my professional evaluations I ever got- and I got several- my students felt they received good service and good results from their time with me. And Bobby, I wear my readers all of the time when I read. Perhaps it is your writing that needs to be improved for its expression and comprehension. See, I can play the offended author bit just as well as you. We disagree on many things, it appears, and I really am not concerned with that. But when I read offensive and harmful things expressed, I am certainly going to respond- in a civil and positive manner. One thing about going back and forth with you, Bobby, is that you are so very consistent in your concern for my previous teaching and my students' .results from my teaching. Almost makes one think you're insecure about your efforts, now doesn't it? Classic displacement activity, my old psychology professors would say, I think. good day to all- Ed
Excellent Lois! I like you, question if we can last until 2024. I also question if the midterm elections will not be rigged. I see too many Republicans bragging about how Biden and his accomplishes are low in the polls and will be history after the midterms. I heard the same old narrative during the 2020 erection, excuse me I mean election, and we see how that played out. Also, your ending statement is my thoughts exactly. Where are our Generals sworn to uphold the constitution against enemies both foreign and domestic? I concur we have become a society of cowards. It will only get worse as the fascist Democrats build their federal police force to destroy all they deem as enemies. We have become a society of cowards which is understandable after the examples made of those few that have stood up just to have their lives ruined. Where is the battle cry, "Give me liberty of give me death?" I fear liberty was held hostage long ago and may now be dead from repeated abuse and torture. Is there not one man, a natural-born male, that can stand up, armed to the teeth, and rally a citizen's militia, take command of the National Guard and take out these fascist leaders starting at a state level, then unite with other states, arrest these fascist leaders in Washington, DC., and try them for treason? No one wants bloodshed, but without it, our republic is lost and a thing of the past that will probably be erased from history lessons in the future. Is there one natural-born male out there that will take up firearms and defend his community and country? I am sick of all the talk that is going nowhere. Words never stopped any fascist regime, but bullets sure have. Hitler didn't lose the war because he was bitch slapped with words. During WW2 it was the women that kept the USA going while the men went off to war. Did your mama or grandma do this for her country so you can be a coward afraid to do what must be done? Maybe the women will take up arms this time and hope that the men will keep the home fires burning and industry alive. Somehow I doubt that the males of today could even accomplish that. Yes, they would all look girly in their skirts and crop tops with padded bras, but the heels would have them tripping over themselves like the little boys they are. Remember when men were men and the women were proud of it?
After all that finger exercise defending your ability to teach, you still didn’t answer the accusation that you didn’t read my post accurately and moreover, didn’t repair the accusation that I somehow like the idea of war. Unlike you, I fought in a war. There is nothing I do not know about war. Seriously, go back to canoeing and building them. You’re certainly better at it than reading.
Good morning to all- Bobby, I apologize if I hurt your feelings. I just try to tell the truth in all that I do. And just to be accurate, I do kayaking- not canoeing. And I expect I'm just as good at reading as you are at writing, just judging by the evidence. And Bobby, I thank you for your service- and that is a true and sincere thanks from me to you. good day to all- Ed
Hurt my feelings? There’s not a tinker’s chance in Hades that you can hurt my feelings because I do understand that you get some emotional or perhaps even some tingly charge in the nether regions when someone does seem upset. You like to troll and as such you simply can’t stand it when someone doesn’t get angry and sees through your very weak facade. You look for someone to start name calling and you look for curses and discord. Now, as far as the truth goes, the problem is that you didn’t tell the truth. Perhaps a new word might be in order describing your psychological indifference or avoidance of the truth. Reapsephobia might fit nicely. (fear of truth or fact) In essence, you twisted what I wrote into what you wanted to read which seems to be extremely prevalent in all of your political meanderings of ill will.
