I may have overstated that a bit. He's not as bad as Lynn Cheney, but he'd rather elect a Democrat in 2024 than see another Trump term.

It all depends on what kind of Republicans get elected in November. The House races are difficult to rig, as there are so many of them, but voters can be fooled if they don't research the candidates. If a lot of MAGA Reps get elected, the I doubt the current Minority Leader will become Speaker, but if a bunch of RINOs get (re)elected, things will go on as they always have where Reps talk a good game and conspire against their constituents behind the scenes.
McCarthy isn't interested in stopping the Democrat agenda but I'm sure he'd like to be Speaker. I wouldn't expect anything from him but tough talk before an election, though.
That tough talk is the weakest tough talk I have ever witnessed, Ken. He's a wimp as far as I am concerned and I am not comfortable with a Californian in that position.
I'm glad I got on here, was just reading Don Alaska's new reply and he's right, I for one can be fooled easily because I don't research enough. Rhinos, turncoats or those who just are out for themselves, not America, aren't getting my vote. As of 2 or 3 days ago, I'm paying attention again. Don't forget how the Californians (plenty of the Left) have moved into Oregon and Washington, or at least infected those and other States with their sick plans.

The republicans like the low wage workers, democrats like the votes, so we've had it with a capital T. We used to be a nation of proud people who thought begging and borrowing was loss of self-respect, now it has become something to brag about and celebrate. I can remember in the early 80s my friends daughter walked into the room and said " I'm pregnant this means my check [welfare] will go up. We both just looked at each other.
I sure don't think any one person can save us, a real miracle would be if everyone stood together against the tyrannical Left. They have a right to believe what they want in this country, but they don't have a right to steal our rights away.

They keep us divided. We were coming together and then the word Racist became the worst thing you could be called and you cowered at the sound. You felt guilt even if you were not a racist because everyone notices skin color and port wine stains and differences in people. If the blue man group moved into your area, you would stare. It is natural. Then sexism helped to divide. Anything they could think of to keep us from coming together.
