Wow, sounds exciting, Yvonne! That's quite a long trip and I know you'll love spending time with Robin.
I know your looking forward to seeing the daughter plus sounds like a great adventure. I have some gypsy in me too ,hubby not so much. Happy trails to you.
Because the cities there are so old, the streets are very narrow , so people do a lot of their short travels by bicycle instead of taking a car when there is no good place to park. Since I can’t balance well enough to ride a bike anymore, Robin bought an E-trike for me and she has it at her house waiting for me when I get there. We have always gone horseback riding together from the time she was a baby; and this time our rides will be with the bikes. The E-trike can be pedaled like a bike, and has an assist for pedaling, or you can ride it like a scooter and just use the motor. She said she has it charging up now, and then will take it for a test ride. Everything is adjustable, so you can set the seat height and slide it forward and backward just like a regular car seat, so it should be much more comfortable than a bicycle seat.
Thats neat, looks like we went from training wheels to sustaining wheels. I need one of those since we sold our bikes when I did a balancing act under large oak on acorns holding mine up. I knew my bike days were over. I bet that place is beautiful in the winter.
