Really sad both have been gone for so long. Juliet Prowse was a dancer and born a South African. She died young in her late 50s, and of course I believe Elvis was 47 when he died. There were a lot of good songs in GI Blues and Elvis was in his prime in 1960.
I was just singing that one a couple of days ago, @Thomas Stillhere ! It was one of my most favorite songs when i was little, and I remember singing it with my kids when they were little. Now, we have little Marco Poodle, and he loves to sit in the living room window and look outside. When we are gone to the fitness center, he sits right there and watches for us to come home, and when he sees the truck pull into the driveway, then he starts his happy-barking. I was listening to him and singing the Doggie in the Window song as we walked up the sidewalk to the front door.
