Neat bikes Ken, all the Yamaha's I have ever ridden, were surprisingly fast to me, I didn't expect them to be so fast. My Honda was really fast too. I remember seeing bikes like those you put up but didn't get to ride them. My oldest brother used to work at a parts store and delivered parts on one like those.
Is that Yamaha an on and off-road bike?

The one that I found a picture of looks to be off-road, but that may just be the tires. Mine was legal on-road, although I certainly took it off-road a lot.

I agree because it does look like a street bike with dirt bike tires to me. Their fun riding off-road, I road heck out my dirt bikes, and loved it.

But some of us wish we could clone Sam Elliot so he could ride again and, if necessary, this member of the forum would ride with him.

As an added note, my motorcycle gets 57 - 60 mpg and is the vehicle that hauls this old fart and his cameras/drone around the countryside.

The drone is an extension of the motorcycle that enables being able to look around and see things from a different perspective.

I fixed it for you. It's nothing you did. The forum just does that sometimes.

I don't like motorcycles. LOL, hubby said " that ought to be a party pooper". Guess I'll leave his thread in peace. I gave his last bike away .

Nice John, so pretty with autumn leaves turning . Can't beat that gas mileage for sure. Thanks again for sharing these photos.

Classic BMW boxers are still über-popular as custom donors—but there's a downside. As we've seen with the Honda CB750 and the Harley-Davidson Sportster, airhead Beemer builds are all starting to look the same. So what does it take to build something fresh—without going overboard? You need a client and a builder who are both tired of the me-too BMWs flooding the market, and have a taste for classic beauty. Then you have a winner, like this elegant R60 from Vintage Addiction Motorcycles. This dapper 1978 R60/7 belongs to a gentleman who collects vintage BMWs but wanted something ‘alternative’.
