Ok, just heard 1 hr with Leo Terrell, Civil Rights Attorney, Trump Republican. Not the Old School of Republications.

He is firm on Trump in 2024 and a caller (woman) called in and said Trump 4 yrs and then DeSantis 8 yrs. after Trump. So 12 years of CHANGE. And for the Positives. :flagus::gop::gop::flagus:

And on next week's elections, the best for LA mayorship would be a smart conservative but since there is none, many are pulling for a Mayor Caruso (who was a long time Conservative but had to change to run in this deep deep deep blue state.

I have my concerns with any Republican getting their fingerprints on any long-held failed Democratic city. Things cannot be fixed, their efforts will be undermined, and the Dems and the media will hang every legacy failure on the (R) as well as all ensuing (D) failures for decades to come. I'm not big on ceding ground, but let the Dems have their irreparable cesspools.

Just like the mess the country is in now will be blamed on the next conservative administration. Hell, they're trying to blame Trump for the inflation mess.

Somehow, I view the national and state-level issues as being less intractable than the mess of the cities. Dunno why. Maybe because there is more political diversity (less concentrated core of ideology) outside of the cities...I think.

It's so hard to grasp how the 2 major parties are so hateful and divisive --

Although I don't hate anyone or even anything.

Over time, power has aggregated in (been stolen by) DC. What enrages/shocks/stupefies me is the way our children are being treated. To call is evil seems to be such an understatement. "Inhuman" is closer to it.

I agree, and even though I have no affiliation with either party it seems that our country is divided beyond repair. So sad and depressing.

I worry more when, as is often the case, the two parties are working together, as they usually work against our interests. I'm just not into the one-world-government, only one opinion permitted, style of government, and public thought. When Republicans get control over the legislature, they generally step back and let the minority Democrats control the direction of government

No Term limits were the real killer, all these freaks causing all the damage are the replacements for the old school back door Klan group. Slo joe got his indoctrination from some of the worst people in government. He saw how much money they all were socking away he fell right in and felt at home. History will follow his soul for eternity and it will not speak kindly of the fool. Same goes for the wino piglosi. I am still surprised to see nothing coming out of the news with kamala the tried to be a black lady. The people pulling strings behind the scenes don't want her anywhere near a microphone until after the 8th. I just sit here sometimes and ask myself is this the best America has to lead. If it is we're in for some very hard times, worse than it is today.

In my OP I mention Rick Caruso running for LA mayor, Caruso has made so much money, he is a major developer in CA and beyond and WHY would he want to take on this JOB....not for money that is for sure. His roots are in LA, born here and perhaps his parents as well.

I can't vote for him as Santa Monica has their own city mayor, but I would have voted for him if I could have. What has been going on in this area for so so many years has not worked, is not working.

Could it be he TRULY wants to change CA as it's been for so long...so so so liberal ... He was a longtime Republican it's said and had to change parties to get on the Mayor thing.

Interesting, Henry Caruso is Rick Caruso's father, Henry was born in PA, moved West to CA and founded Dollar Rent a Car.

Sorry, but Trump 2024 ain't happenin'. I voted for him twice but will not a third time. If he would be the Republican nominee, I will probably just stay home that day.

Both parties have become fossilized. It's time for new thinking.

Nothing new there, seems to me it doesn't really matter who is in we still lose more of America.
Looks to me like they just play a kind of musical chairs and sit in high cotton, while we the people, plow their fields.
We keep losing more rights, become more immoral and less safe every year. I feel for the youth future, in this salad bowl of mixed fruits and nuts. There is nothing we won't tolerate in the name of tolerance.

Coup de tat in America does not set well with me, that happened in 2016 and still in progress. We have a corrupt FBI, Intelligence Agency and Department of Justice. Because nothing was done you will see a lot worse if we live long enough. The worst people in government have been given a green light to continue with the crimes until Americans get enough and choose the Constitutional option and use it. This election just rings the start bell for business as usual from these criminals who continue to stuff their pockets with cash taken from our enemies abroad and at home. I am not at all surprised that so many people still like to pay at the pumps and at the grocers. There is another large group who vote for the handout only and it makes no difference who they vote for as long as that free stuff is handed out to them. It will be interesting to see what happens in the future. I watched already on news that the Republican Speakers position is already at odds and there is a divide from Republicans who are not on board with any kind of planning or leadership of their Party. I say theirs because I am not one of them. I still remain free to vote for who I think will have all our best interest first, and I am not seeing it in the Republican Party, nor have I ever seen it before. It is a good thing to have two or three parties in America, but something has to be done to stop the corruption and targeting of fellow citizens by simple minded criminals. We need to start with that shriveled up creature piglosi. The half wit in our white house will soon meet the real Big Guy from natural causes. Nobody is above the law and if you are evil you will be judged by the supreme voter in the end.

They already took care of any kind of resistance when Obama was in he fired 197 top brass, so we can only imagine who or what he replaced them with.
Since we don't have any worthy news now we won't know.

Why don't you be more clear, whats so divisive or is the question Who is so divisive? Why not say what's on your mind instead of just throwing out accusations? Want to debate ok, lets hear what's on your mind.
I don't hate anyone either so we agree on that. I just love my own like anyone else with any self-preservation, more than others is that ok?
