I tracked them down Denise they are on their way to the virus jail accompanied by LAPD officer Troll
I've had all of these happenings for a while too, but I thought it was my techie zombieisum, (new word guys), showing. Now I don't feel so bad. Now that soup has been stirred until it's impossible to tell what's in it. Bobby shut the screen door. Didn't your momma tell you about flies? Frank quit being your impish self, and go get the mop and bucket.
Okay, I know there are missing posts. I don't have time to get into it into any detail since that won't help any of you anyhow, but a cron job timed out, with a memory loss error. If I can get it to complete, I think we'll have our posts back but that's not something that I can do myself because it's not like I can open a drawer and go looking for them. I don't know if it's a limitation at the level of the host or in the forum software. I don't know if I'll be able to get the missing posts back but I'll try. Meanwhile, please just go on posting.
Right now, my host tells me that I should have plenty of memory to complete any task. I have told them that if I needed to upgrade a more expensive plan, I'll gladly do that. I am waiting to hear back before trying to run the cron job again because if it cuts out again, we may lose more posts.
Okay, sounds like a plan. Should we be using photobucket for posting photos. Holly mentioned that, it doesn't use as much memory that way.
I prefer Photobucket because it doesn't use my resources, but not everyone seems to be able to figure that out, so I'm not requiring it. We will get this figured out. I don't know if I'll be able restore what is missing, but we'll be able to continue.
And I, not aware of a limitation on memory, just started a thread containing a vid and image. Maybe 5megs, or more.. Sorry, if I have further "sintered the cinder"! Frank
Thanks Ken I will look into Photobucket if it helps, the missing posts are hopefully on your compost heap doing some good
