Well, I do not understand keeping those who have left long time ago, and not posted in years. If they are not active members - just saying
No one who has posted will be removed, however long ago that might have been. If they were removed, whenever a thread that they have posted to was viewed, posts by those who have been removed would show up as "Guest" and that would be confusing. Plus, we've had some very good content from people who haven't been here in a while, either because they've left or are no longer able to post for some reason, such as death. Besides, I want to remember those who have left, including those who chose to leave.
859 - G's -- In case you're wondering, I'm not posting a tally of the numbers because I think you're all going to be fascinated by it. Mostly, it's my way of keeping track of where I left off.
You're safe, Beth. The B's were done on the first day. Yvonne needs to worry because I might be getting a little weary by the time I get to the Y's.
(Yvonne quickly hurries to change her name to “Evonne”, so she will be safe for another year, in case Ken is tired by the time he gets to the “Y’s”)
Purge #1 Nov 2019 Start: 945 Nov 2019 End: 648 Culled: 297 Purge #2 Feb 2021 Start: 1,081 (added 433 new accounts in just over a year, possibly COVID-driven) Apr 2021 End: 548 Culled: 533 2022: Fauci interruptus Purge #3 Jan 2023 Start: 922 (added 389 new accounts in 20 months) Jan 2023 End: 742 Culled: 180 So the End membership number is pretty high, and the #Culled went WAY down, even though it's been 2 years since the last one. Maybe COVID caused 2020 activity to be skewed.
As offered in the Avatar thread, I'd be happy to add a graphic for you. Just tell me what you're looking for.
I can probably find something. A photo wouldn't be it, though, because I don't have anything recent and have tried unsuccessfully to take 'selfies' with cell phone.
