Thanks! It is an every evening event for me with my flaxseed heat pad on my neck to help it relax and also my throat to help the hiatal hernia and loosen the mucous off of it.

Leftover chicken green chili soup for supper.

My husband is the same way. He likes potatoes no matter how they are prepared. :D

Being a diabetic for past 15 years I don't enjoy seeing foods I use to love and could have, but I did make drop biscuits today although small, big mistake to eat them. Cost me hard labor in exercise, weights:(.

I've never tried it but don't think I'd like raw potatoes.

My friend has one of those hernias, he said he has a tiny kink in his oesophagus and the pain when eating is awful, he's on medication for it.

As you pointed out elsewhere, not having to produce your own food frees you for other pursuits. I can get into all sorts of pursuits and feel free of the threat of a lock down. There can be interruptions in production but there are lots of different ways to live... For the moment.

I put a beef roast in the crock pot overnight to think about what I want with it. We have homegrown potatoes, beans, dried tomatoes, and cauliflower for cheezy cauliflower soup. Probably will be beef and mashed potatoes, soup and salad today and beef stew tomorrow cuz I won't be here.

I have a pork roast in the crock pot with some onions and gravy with cajun spices. I'll make some rice or mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli to go with it.

Oven baked chicken breasts coated in homemade seasoned breadcrumbs, baked potatoes, and steamed fresh green beans. (Or as fresh as beans can be from the produce section of the grocery store.):D

OMG, that sounds so good. I'm cutting back on carbs so I'll have my nose pressed against the bakery display in a day or so.
