Oh yes Chrissy, make-believe has it's place in our lives, especially as kids ... great coping mechanism for sure ... If I was young and could start over, and go to college... Social Psychology has always fascinated me! Hubby took some courses while in college, and I had him keep the Psychology books, so that I could read them. ..which I did, over & over.
You have a sterling positive quality. Oh, Bonnie..your other answer brought tears to my eyes. I guess I should have known that answer . hugs
Bonnie... two more questions. 1. What are your two proudest moments. 2: I'm giving you $10,000 to splurge with..tell me what you'll buy
2 proudest moments ... both occurred in the last few years. 1) Oldest daughter finally got married after vowing she never would. Thought she was doomed to be a spinster, but her longtime boyfriend convinced her that marriage is okay. (all my kids are now married .. youngest daughter for years now, and my son is on his second marriage for the last 11 yrs.) 2) Son got his Master's Degree, while working, and finishing up his schooling. Splurging with $10,000 ?? ... spending money is against all my principles these days Karen!!!! It would have to go toward replastering the backyard swimming pool that I've been ignoring.
Yay for your proudest moments..and hope both unions stay the course. Bonnie, Bonnie...replastering the pool..sigh..I was thinking a new outfit..a little trip...a box of gourmet chocolates., you are the practical one with common sense..but girl you need a little spoiling too.
No trips, outfits or chocolate .... How's this .... something near & dear to my heart, I would buy a PSL seat at NRG Stadium (Houston), if it's even possible for $10,000. I might need a bigger gift... I love football, enjoy the NFL & Houston Texans football team. I watch from home these days, but a seat up close and personal on game days would hit the spot!
Bonnie ..yay! Okay..hey why not..$20,000 and a no limit Visa card paid for by Bill Gates (from his Make-a-Wish program for deserving individuals .
Bonnie, if you go back in time to any era anywhere in the world...and live the life for one year what Era would it be, in which country...and would you choose to be male or female?
Era .. late 1800's into early 1900's. ... Country, Italy ... my paternal grandmother. Her life captivates me. A mystery woman to those who tracked her records.. Would be interesting to re-track her life...(I think -even for a year!) She seemed a mystery woman in many ways. .. left much unexplained. Apparently she lived by her own rules, and was a real character. ... her journey started in the late 1880's somewhere in Italy. She traveled by ship to the United States, like many did, to Ellis Island, NY, early 1900's. She disappeared of her own choosing, leaving her husband and three children around 1918. Sure would like to know the rest of that story!
Some of the Chanel perfumes ... Coco, No. 5 Tresor by Lancome Obsession / CK I used to love Moon Drops by Revlon before it went away. and Vanderbilt - Gloria Vanderbilt Ruby, I also enjoy buying the sample bottles that Sephora offers on their website.
Growing up did you dream of having a husband one day and did you dream of what he would look like? Is there anything you would change about your life now?
