My cats will eat canned tuna cat food but they won't touch fresh tuna. The same is true of chicken, Even without the spices, they won't touch tuna or chicken, raw or cooked, but they like it if it's in a can that says "cat food" on it, That's been true of most of the cats I've had. When we cook chicken, in particular, there is a lot of waste, so I thought it would make perfect sense to cook some of it for the cats at the same time, but minus the spices, only they wouldn't touch it. I am the opposite, of course. I can't imagine ever being so desperate as to eat cat food, although I suppose I would if I were locked up in a room with it, but nothing else. I'd have an easier time with kibble than with canned food. Even when I buy cat food that claims to be 100% meat, it stinks.
Would have to be close to starving...and even then, with lots of cheese almost anything could taste good
I have a funny story. My friends have a grandson. One day he went for a walk with his dog and took some dog food with him. He was walking, and then other children on the street pester him. He asked if they would leave him if he gave them crackers, and gave them dog food. They ate everything
