This song reminds me of my mystery girl. From the very first time I saw her I was immediately smitten we were walking in the same direction on a Brooklyn Street when she went into an apartment building where I assume she lived. That summer school break I walked by her Street everyday in the hopes of "bumping" into her. The more I "bump" into her The more my crush deepened. One time our eyes met, she gave a slight smile. I rehearsed all these things I would say if we ever talked and I would play or sing this song to her cuz it was the way I felt. Towards the end of the summer our paths crossed And she said "hi" my thoughts was this is my chance, However I could barely get the words "hi" out, I had Mental freeze so I just kept walking.
