In the early 50s in Houston there was a Hamburger place that had 10 burgers for a dollar !!! They had no lettuce or tomato s or cheese just the meat bun and sauce. I remember it to have been pretty good. Most folks in those days were only bringing home 75 dollars a week so it was a pretty good deal. This morning I stopped at the corner gas station before going to the Post Office and there was a sign on the door that was asking for help, starting 14 dollars and some change for just a cashier per hour. Soon this fake salary raise for non specialized workers is going to crash the economy. The only thing that happened was opening the door to gouging and theft by suppliers and all commercial corporations getting filthy rich while stealing. They probably laid off 3 workers to pay that 14 bucks an hour. Seeing that a quart of cheap motor oil is now 6 dollars or more no doubt it is because of the fake wage. No one has gained anything if they are paying for a home or a car or anything on payment.
