I just read that United Airlines is grounded throughout the country. It sounds to me that someone has hacked them and made them unsafe to fly per the FAA. Planes in the air are allowed to continue to their destinations, but all on the ground have been stopped.
I heard on the radio that there were communication issues between the planes and I guess some central United place. There were 3 planes in the air (safely) and 84 on the ground waiting for the issue to be fixed. That was about 2PM and they expected things to be OK "within 1/2 hour."
I hope that is true. It spooks me since I believe we are in a behind the scenes cyber war with Russia, China or both. Paranoia maybe, but....
I had similar thoughts when I heard about it. There was no editorializing from the talking head on the radio.
Interesting that this happened when United employees have been picketing. Hope it doesn't happen again, as I'm flying home on United from Mexico to Houston and on to Orlando.
I didn’t think of war although certainly a foreign influence could be involved. I remember a time when things worked as expected for the most part. Now, it seems that anything that is US government controlled no longer functions well and I’ve become programmed to simply assume it is our own government at fault when anything they have influence on goes wrong. Maybe it’s just me.
That is certainly true. The U.S. government is probably the least able of any developed country to operate a business. If you compare the post office and the railroads of other developed countries to those in the U.S., you can see the problem. We always spend the most money and get the worst results, whether it be healthcare or education. I have just felt that there has been a behind-the-scenes war going on that is being hidden to prevent the populace from panicking. Power stations going down, refineries exploding, trains carrying hazardous materials derailing, etc. There may also be a weather war going on. Major nations like Russia, China, and the U.S. have been doing research into weather weaponization and modification for decades. Russia was considering selling weather modification shortly after the USSR collapsed to raise money. The U.S. (NASA/NOAA) have been operating weather modification flights and they are even labeled as such on flight radar. I am sure China is also in the game, albeit perhaps with stolen technology. A new type of Cold War has developed.
And now we have somehow lost an F-35 fighter jet somewhere over South Carolina, and the government is asking people for help to find it. As crazy as this sounds, apparently the pilot bailed out of the plane for some reason, came down fine and was rescued. The plane didn’t crash (or at least they have no record of a plane crash), and it was flying fine when the pilot ejected from the plane. Since it is a fighter jet, and apparently the transponder is not working, they say they can’t track this plane and have no idea where it is flying to at this point.
Lots of speculation online about this. Apparently, the plane landed in Havana now ; so at least we know where it is. Why it went there is anyone’s guess; but some people are saying that the government was working on integrating AI with the F-35, and it possibly ejected the pilot without his doing it himself, and then took over the plane. Some people think that the plane was somehow hacked, and apparently, there was a second plane following the first one, and that plane did not follow the first one after the pilot was ejected, but instead flew back to wherever they were based out of. The ejected pilot is alive but in the hospital, unknown condition.
The more things change, the more they stay the same. This is old school hijacking right here. Sequestered in some unknown location.
It also could be akin to the Iranians hijacking the drone some years ago. From that has come an entire Iranian industry based on back-engineering that drone. Biden has just contributed $50 billion dollars to Iran to help them along in their pursuits. Maybe Cuba is heading that way too, or selling the plane to the Chinese, who have already stolen the plans for that plane, but maybe they needed more info on the weapons, guidance , radar, or something that wasn't included in the original plans.
Things I read elsewhere say that they are searching for the plane in a boggy swamp outside of Lake City, South Carolina. Guys who live there verify that it's a goat rodeo with all the search planes and copters. Another person says jet debris field has been located in Williamburg county, SC.
