That's an interesting thing to experiment with. The only "exotic" soap I've tried has been Castille soap. I can't say I noticed much of a difference.
I've mentioned before that Goodwill has an online store. It has products that are put there from their various stores, and I believe that the stuff gets aggregated at regional facilities from which it ships. Much of the stuff is set up like EBay (you bid), and there is a Buy It Now section. I've bought a couple of items there. There is no Free Shipping With Minimum Purchase option, but they have some items that ship for 1¢ (meaning the cost of freight is built into the price.) Online Goodwill Homepage If you go to the bottom of the Home Page you can click on 1¢ Shipping, Buy It Now, or Last Chance (meaning limited quantities.)
I really liked those and repurchased on 3 or 4 different occasions. The only problem I found is that the bars melt away quickly. I only got about half the usage out of a bar that I would normally get with any other standard bar soap. Other than the caveat, again, I liked the kits. Each bar smells really good, soaps up well and rinses away clean
Interesting that yours melt away quickly. That's one thing that annoys me about some soaps. But after 4 showers, mine are not dissolving quickly.. These are 4-ounce bars; some are 6 ounce. Are you sure it's the exact same brand?Maybe other factors? Last year, I tossed out my solid soap dishes for vented bamboo dishes & the soap bar dries out quickly & lasts much longer.
Yup, same stuff. I was impressed with my first two boxes but the third one seemed to be softer and disappeared quicker.. The difference might have been that I chose another selection of scents and I think I bought the third box in the summer when the bathroom isn’t as cool. Note: we don’t air condition the entire house in the summer so the bathroom can be downright hot in the heat of the day ergo making the bars soft. Dunno.
Just ordered some more pistachios. I wanna buy local, but ALDI has been out of in-the-shell salted pistachios for the past month and Walmart is too expensive.
The weather has changed, and fall is getting to Alabama; so I was looking on Amazon Warehouse for warm dog shirts for Marco Poodle for winter. They had this set of 4 shirts for about $5, so I ordered them for him to wear at night when he gets chilly.
I'm kind of shocked at how well it works. I've not run it through any rugged paces, but it's a real chain saw that quickly went through a few 3" trees like butter. It arrived with the chain installed...backwards. But other than that...it's really gonna be handy. All those things I would have used a hand saw on (that aren't worth getting the gas saw out for) are gonna be a piece of cake to fell. I'm glad you recommended it. I was ready to spend a lot more money on a full-sized electric, and some reviewers said that those get all tangled up on the small stuff. I bought a squeeze ketchup bottle and filled it with bar oil to squirt on the chain every once in a while. Funny, but the [Chenglish] instructions make passing reference to the "lubricating oil hole" and the "lubricating oil passage" in the Maintenance section, but I'll be darned if I know what they mean. It's not pointed out in any of the illustrations. There is a small hole in the "bar," but it's hidden under the sprocket cover.
Real happy it worked out for ya John. I’m charging the batteries for mine as I write because I have a bunch to do tomorrow and I don’t feel like stringing cord for the electric saws or gassing up the big chain saw.
I bought the Black & Decker corded version of that saw a few years ago. Now B&D makes a battery one. It is handy. The oiling is a problem. I keep saying "I'll oil it next time." Mine mentions an oil hole also, that I can't find.
Even the battery saws with an oil reservoir have a problem with oil leakage. Mine recommends removing the oil after every use, and I have read others' comments online relating the same.
