Remember when we were young and watch shows like Mission Impossible? All the thingy's they used to spy on and kill people like spies ? Camera in end of a pencil, all kinds of unbelievable things used. We were always told that is just TV, nothing real. Baloney on my pony, not true, they were using those in real life. NCIS - eye scanner- real has been for ages. All the unbelievable things on TV and movies became a reality.
I don't like to have to take my cell phone with me all the time. I heard the radiation it emits is bad for us. I used to have a flip phone in my pants pocket and then I needed a hip replacement. ???? But I force my hubby to take his when he goes out in case he has a problem and needs help. Of course, the nerfball does not turn it on so I can call him because he wants to save the battery. If one gets a flat tire or gets lost or falls.... good to have a cell phone on you.

then you better unplug everything you have that is digital -clocks,timers, picture frames, microwave clock..its everywhere that causes possible cancer issues. so i have read.
I have read of people having conversations about medical issues while riding in their cars and going home to find an email containing the product they discussed, supposedly because their cell phones monitored their conversation. It's been long known that Alexa listens to--and records--everything you say, even when it's "asleep." The old flip phones are just like the communicators used in the Star Trek TV shows. Wrist watch phones are taken from Dick Tracy. And you're right...the government gets the cool stuff first, then it trickles down to we peons.
Now I'm wondering when I'm singing with a wooden spoon as a microphone...I had my TV on and it's Smart.*Sigh*My Dad left me a lil bit of money..and now it watches me.
Had I know the TV would watch me I would have gotten something upstart but it was on sale so it's a good thing I live alone.
@John Brunner - Alexa is not needed . I do not have that - yet ears are everywhere. Remember me talking about the grocery store incident from few years ago? Had my phone in hand because I was looking at my grocery app. Leaning on the cart with beans in front of me. Never touched one thing. My eyes went to Bush's baked beans, I decided no not right now. Moved on, looked down, and those beans were added to my list ! I was shocked and hacked off at the same time. Also have a conversation with hubby about something, and find the main item of conversation on my computer in ad form or some sponsored site. I like to piss them off and take phone to the bathroom.... listen to this dirt wad
youtube.com is cracking down on alternative healthcare videos. This contributor has been my favorite and showed me a painless way to lose 35 lbs. And has helped so many more with diabetes, gall bladder, heart, liver, kidney etc conditions more than traditional doctors. We can't have that! It will destroy the sick care industry.
That is what I was mentioning in another thread. It seems the big crackdown is occurring, especially on YouTube. Some are moving to Rumble, and others are moving to "X" where censorship seems to be less of a problem. Some sites don't appear in topic searches and you have to know the specific URL or poster name to find them. I fear the day when the digital currency in rolled out and they can do the same thing to how you spend your money.
