It’s getting to be difficult to look around and find anything good. Sure, there are small moments with pets, friends, peaceful moments, but as soon as you expand your view to encompass more than a few individuals, things suddenly start turning to rot.
Hamas and others often place their missile batteries and anti-aircraft stuff on apartment buildings and such to get the publicity when they are attacked. Saddam Hussein used tp place his stuff on hospitals and schools, thinking the Americans wouldn't attack them there for fear of bad publicity. That may be why the building was destroyed. The U.S. just shot down a Turkish drone flying in that airspace. I am not sure these days whose side Turkey in on, but the action may give Russia a justification to shoot down American drones over the Black Sea. We'll see.
This is probably EXACTLY what Biden intended to happen when he gave Iran that six billion dollars last month, right on 9/11. Of course, he said it was part of a prisoner exchange, but we all knew that the money didn’t have one thing to do with him caring about the prisoners that he was rescuing, and that was just an excuse to Americans for why he gave Iran the money. I just read that Israel has now declared war on Hamas and declared martial law. 100 dead and more than 1000 wounded in Israel with many hostages taken and carrying into Gaza form which the attack originated. Both Iran and Hezbollah have praised the action.

The # dead in Israel is now over 200. Joe has promised $8 billion to Israel in war aid, probably to help counteract the $6 billion he gave Iran. If Israel attacks Iran in retaliation, this was could get very big very quickly.
