We had our first snow of the season yesterday morning, although it soon disappeared. It snowed a little again this afternoon, but melted before it hit the ground. Since it snowed fifteen days earlier last year than it did this year, that must be proof positive of man-made global warming. Damn. We never should have made that car trip.
It looks like we're going to get our first snow on the ground tonight, as it's snowing pretty heavily and it's still early in the night. I haven't checked weather forecasts because they lie all the time, and I like being surprised anyhow, but my guess is that we'll have snow on the ground in the morning but it will soon melt.
We had our first snow of the year this morning. It was just a dusting and didn't affect the roads; however, it's a harbinger of things to come. Time to make sure the snowblower battery is ready for winter.
I Hate Snow I hate snow even when it is mellow I hate snow especially if it is yellow I hate snow even if fluffy like a bunny I hate snow especially wet and runny I hate snow and that ain't funny I hate snow even shoveled by a Hunny I hate snow it makes me fret I love snow no no Nanette
I awoke to our first snow of the season. It's not just a dusting, either, although shoveling isn't necessary yet. It's barely below freezing so it might melt off yet this afternoon. We might have had snow about a week ago, but I didn't see it. Someone said something about snow but it could be that they lived further up the mountain than I do, or maybe it had all melted off before I got up.
First snow here in SW Ontario also, just enough to make top of cars white but not sticking elsewhere.....
We are getting snow tonite 1-3 inches. I put up the snow boards to keep the barn door from freezing down and it will be warming up later in the week, or so they say. This might be the hardest winter for hubby and me. He isn't doing well, moving around, and I don't feel like picking him up.
After a couple of days of above-freezing temperatures, our snow is pretty much gone for now except for a few shadier spots.
