I still have a little turkey and turkey broth leftover in the freezer so I am making Turkey Tetrazzini.
I've been eating rather heavy lunches, so quite often dinner for the past few weeks has been a salad and garlic bread topped with Asiago and Pecorino Romano cheeses, then chucked under the broiler. I tried Mozzarella and then Fontina cheese, but they were too mild to cut through the garlic.

We have a heavy storm forecast for tonight and into morning, and most of the ham was down to the bone; so Bobby cut it up for me. The slices are in the fridge, and the bones are cooking with some baby Lima beans and veggies for later on today, probably with some cornbread. Plan for today…… keep warm and crochet a new little bathroom throw rug.

I made a big batch of mini meatballs today to freeze, and I still have some marinara sauce in the freezer so night’s supper is---Spaghetti and mini meatballs. Ta-Da!
I'm actually going to cook today. I've got a Martha Stewart recipe for Creamy Chicken and Mushrooms With Egg Noodles that I want to try. It looks simple to make and I have some mushrooms that I need to use up.
I made some baked beans and they are slow cooking in the oven. The house smells yummy. We will have some grilled cheeseburgers with baked beans today.
Grocery delivery day, so I added some deli tuna salad and croissants to my order. We're having tuna salad sandwiches with homemade tomato soup.
