I bought a couple of stabablizers that suction to the wall but have not installed them yet. I don't think I trust suction cups with unequal weight of a wobbly person. I do position my cane into a tiny corner next to the shower, which works.

Last year, I converted an old tub/shower to a shower only. Instead of stepping over a big tub, I only step over a 3-inch ledge. And I specified non-slip tiles & 2 grab bars & a seat.
