A Biden-led operation to protect shipping, mostly not directed to the U.S., has received little support. The UK is the only nation to support the U.S. with ships, and they sent only one destroyer. India and Australia said they will not participate in a U.S.- led operation, and several nations from Europe (the ones most affected by the Houthi blockade) have sent a few observers but no military forces so far. Italy and Greece have apparently promised but not delivered. Even Egypt and Saudi Arabia don't want to go along, and the Canal is a major source of income for Egypt. We are footing the bill and putting forces at risk for people who don't care. I think we should just pull out of there and allow others to defend their own supply lines.
