They've yet to invent an air freshener that can overcome the stench of pre-toddler poop. I would at least give the kid some goggles for the drive home, though.
I remember having that exact same baby seat for my oldest son when he was little…… of course, we used it inside of the car, but he might have enjoyed the view from hanging out the window, too.
I had one for my babies, too. It had a little steering wheel with a little red horn. Look, mom, no seat belt!
Reminds me of a feature on my 2021 Accord: If there is anyone in the back seat when the engine is shut off, a light & alarm are activated & the dashboard says "Check Rear Seats."
That's because of the babies that are left in hot cars and die. I still don't understand how anybody could forget their baby was in the back seat.
Not all the cases are accidents. Some are parents who want to get rid of their unwanted kids & make it look accidental to avoid prosecution. Like this one: https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/h...-ross-harris-sentenced-life-son-s-hot-n692086 And the parents will probably get away with it; the conviction was overturned. The evidence that proved the parents did it deliberately was ruled "inadmissable." The parents were secretly recorded in the interrogation room at the police station where the wife said, "Don't worry, honey, they can't prove anything." Oh, & I forgot to mention: The husband worked at Home Depot. That's where he left his child in his car seat on a 100-degree summer day. On his lunch break, security cameras in the parking lot showed him getting stuff out of his car. He claimed he didn't notice his dead child in the car seat.
