I find the switching times annoying, but whatever is decided so that we'll all be on the same schedule. Monday I have an appointment at 9:30 a.m. That means, really, 8:30 a.m. ... plus the driving time. This I find obnoxious. LOL
I'm like Yvonne. Look forward to DST. Changing clocks is not a big deal here. I change the ones I use most right away and get around to the others whenever I notice them.
I have to change the digital clocks on the microwave, the coffee pot and the stove (who sets a timer for their stove to turn on????) My alarm clock has a DST switch that bumps the time up/back an hour. The tough one is the clock on my annoying weather station I mentioned last year (I'm sure you all remember that comment.) My Apple watch and iPhone change themselves. @Jenna Parnellson You reminded me that I have an appointment at 9:50AM on Wednesday, which is really 8:50AM...and it's a 45 minute drive. I used to be (past tense) a morning person. It's gonna be ugly.
this is weird. Saturday night long before bed time we moved all the clocks up one hour. The grandfather clock his dad made The small grandfather clock his brother made The clock on gas stove- digital The microwave clock- digital None of these clocks are holding the correct time! They still are an hour behind. We both thought we just made mistake when setting, so we re set them. I got up this morning- same thing! Hello.. any ideas I am baffled
So you reset them this morning after you got up? If they're still off, no idea. Twilight Zone? <joke>
...and my grandfather clock that I watched my grandfather wind each week in England is over 70 years behind as it sits in the corner of my living room here in Canada......! Time be passing slowly it seems......
Now that cell phones, tablets, watches and computers change automatically I don’t bother with the others. I just don’t look at the clock on the stove, etc. I only change the one in the car. It’s supposed to change automatically but never does.
My laptop has always been off by 2 hours. I think it is on Pacific time but it is not worth my time to bother figuring out how to reset it. It changes twice a year.
Me and a friend of mine figured out what happened. We changed the clocks on Friday night vs late Saturday oR a Sunday morning. Don't judge me we are old !
