Tuberville proposed a bill to the Senate that was unanamously approved but when it went to the House, Nancy Pelosi wouldn’t allow the bill to be presented. From what Yvonne told me a couple of days ago, there’s another similar bill (if not exactly the same) that is supposed to be voted on shortly.

Apparently Trump has had a victory in Georgia as 6 of the charges against him have reportedly been quashed by the judge as his decision whether to remove Fani Willis from the case. During the investigation into Willis' machinations, it has now been shown that she coordinated efforts with Liz Cheney and the Jan 6 Committee to bring the charges and was shown J-6 video that was reportedly deleted afterwards, so there could be conspiracy charges to add to the confusion. Both Trump and Biden secured their respective nominations yesterday, and it is the first time since FDR that a person has secured the Presidential nomination by his party 3 consecutive times. I think it is the only time since the nomination has been done officially by primaries and not by smoke-filled rooms. Biden's poll numbers appear to have gone down even further after the SOTU speech that was supposed to save him, further increasing Trump's lead in the pols nationwide. Expect shenanigans galore as the Democrats try to save their candidate.
I don't understand the delay in the Fani Willis thing. According to what I heard, the law indicates that the "appearance" of impropriety is enough. Seems to me there was way more than "appearance," so what's the damn hold up.

From what I have read, the appearance of impropriety is enough to remove her form the case, which , in this case, would probably mean the charges wouldn't be pursued as they seem to be "Trumped up" anyway. The real question may be whether she and her boyfriend will be disbarred and removed form office.
