I had pork chops thawed but wife didn't want to eat so I had a can of sardines with crackers, cottage cheese and some bread& butter pickles. Pork chops today I expect.
All I had for dinner (mid-day meal) was about ten shrimp and a half can of ripe olives. I set out to have a whole can of olives but got sick of olives half-way through.
We call it lunch down here. I made stir fry with peppers, onions and rice, will serve with soy sauce, sugar free apricot preserves, hot mustard and noodles. Split an A&W Root Beer.
Friday is pizza day so I got a tray of red pizza with onions at a place I had not gone to since covid when I started laying low for a long time. It was $11 per tray back then but is $15 now. Thanks Biden!
You saying I'm ab-normal, well thanks a lot, down here we don't ask if you wanna go to dinner in middle of the day, we ask where you eating lunch today.
There is a thread on the forum where this battle has been fought. Only 9 people showed up the day of the fight. No one has posted in it since 2015. Ken and Bobby are the only two currently active (and surviving) members who participated in that conversation. Given that Ken posted his midday meal here, we know what his position is on the subject. Like most others here, I post my meals in the "What's For Breakfast Today?", the "Tell Me What You Had For Lunch Today", and the "What's for Supper?" threads. "Dinner" is a roadside place that you stop to eat, spelled by someone who stutters.
