I wonder how many of those who, like me, were involved in the 1960s counterculture revolution knew that they would become people who were unquestionably subservient to the elite, supporting unending wars, full government control over everything, including thought, and undying hatred for anyone who tries to make them think. I wonder why more of them haven't recognized that the train had gone off the track.
I have endless questions for the Boomer generation but asking them usually gets me into trouble. For example, can they not see how much America has changed since they came of age and do they really think those changes have been for the better? Since Mr. Anderson mentioned the ‘60s counterculture do we see that we are going into another such time this summer? Before an election our youth is poised to shift America to support terrorism in ways that we have never done before through the anti-Israel, pro-Hamas protests? Maybe it’s not completely fair to say our youth. We have more foreign students than ever before. Why don’t we expel them from the country? Ironically enough the Democrat convention will be held in Chicago this summer. Will we have enough popcorn?
