I've worked with folks from all around the world. There was an odor emitted from those who had heavily spice-laden diets...it oozed from their pores. Conversely, they said that people who ate a lot of red meat smelled sickly sweet to them. This recipe only has a hint of curry, which is offset by the sweetness of cinnamon and clove. I posted it here. If you decide to not try it, check out other pilaf recipes. There are also rice recipes that have orzo added. Orzo is pasta shaped like grains of rice. It makes for a pleasant texture change, and some recipes have you lightly brown the orzo to give it a nutty flavor. You can also add it to soup. Pilafs and orzo offer a change of pace from plain rice.
They are, though I do barbeque baked beans most of the time with it, but I like the green peas with baked potatoes. Must be the photo lighting. I didn't turn a light on, and there was no flash. Promise you; they were green peas.
"Supper". Barbeque chicken thighs, green peas, homemade biscuits, sweet potatoes, and Irish potatoes.
Yummy - It all looks so perfect. I mentioned in another post, That my wife may make Easter Egg Bread, she did here's a photo.
Jake your BBQ foods looks delicious. I've gotten better at the barbecue, But in the past my hamburgers I'd give to the cobbler to re-sole my shoes.
Thanks, Tony, I love a good barbeque, myself. It was really good, I ate as much as I could and had plenty left for tomorrow. I made my share of barbecue mistakes too.
Thats cool the wife did good. I've never saw one of those. I bet my daughter would like to make one of those.
