    This is part of my back verandah / back area of my home , where we have our morning 10 am cuppa if the weather permits

    We’d just washed the huge back window ( kitchen ) when I took this photo about a month ago , that’s why it’s wet

    Cold now @Mary Stetler we are heading into winter it traditionally turns cold right after Easter …and it has it was 35c ( 95f) a few days ago ….20c ( 67f ) today

    We don’t get frost or snow , however my begonias ..many of which I’ve had for 30+ years are not fond of very chilly nights altho they don’t die ( unless they have been given to much water ) they struggle through winter @Jenna Parnellson
    Most of prefer the warmer winters like Queensland and I’m down the bottom part of Aust where we get arctic winds off the sea in winter

    Kate, our Cana Lillys aren't doing so good now, mostly because the Mexican Petunias are crowding them out, so I dug a lot of the petunias out yesterday, had to use a garden fork, so hard to dig up.
    I only have perennials now since so much to do here with animals and other chores no time or energy for my flowers.
