I got it on Amazon a few years ago. Here is a link for it on amazon, and they have several styles if this kind of small purse. If I put it in the shopping cart, I put it with the plain black side up, and it is so small that it is invisible in the top part of the cart, and you can also connect the shoulder strap to the cart for even more security, if you are concerned about someone taking it. The shoulder strap adjust for length really well, too. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BYZWM13M/
I always have my house key on me even if I am home--and a knife at all times. I have a key fob for hubby's car and driver's license/wallet in my barn coat pocket ,with my cell phone and barnhouse keys. I basically wear that coat all winter. Recently I bought a many pocketed vest and an over the shoulder cross-body bag. Not sure which will win out.
Maybe Mary is thinking better safe than sorry. I just wouldn't be sneaking up on Mary playing any pranks.
Because sometimes the doors get locked. I don't live by myself and if anything happens to hubby I can get back in.
We have a combination lockbox that was originally placed there by an extermination company twenty years ago, in which we keep a spare key, but that has nothing to do with identification. Given that, despite Democrat goals, I don't yet live in a fully fascist society, I don't feel the need to carry my "papers" with me wherever I go. I generally remember to bring my DL when driving, although, as stated earlier, it's not usually a big thing in the northern part of Maine; I'll bring my wallet otherwise only when I anticipate needing to access a debit card or cash, the latter of which I rarely carry anymore.
Being a dunderhead, I often need to run for gas or to the grocery/feed store from the farm. My barn coat is my purse or I have a many pocketed vest for summer. ( I used to lose purses regularily) I don't yet need the wallet for identification (much) but I use my credit card and pay it off every month for most purchases.
Yvonne, my little belt pouch just got delivered 10 minutes ago, it is cute, RFID proof and I can wear it on my belt or inside outside my pants. I really like it. Thank you for bringing these kinds of mini bags or pouches to my attention.
What is the reason she wants to carry your ID? Does she think you are going to lose it? I personally would want to carry my own ID.
Unfortunately, Frank Sanoica has died, so he probably won't be answering. However, my wife likes me to carry my wallet because I would otherwise use that as an excuse for her to put everything on her card if we stop somewhere.
I carry my wallet and keys to almost everything on the property on my person at all times. If I want to access a locked shed, or even the back door to the house (which is almost always locked), I don't want the hassle of having to go elsewhere to get a keys. I, like @Mary Stetler, also carry a knife at all times, and often I carry a lighter.
