No it is not what I'm thinking, John,give me a break. I'm not web savvy but do know somethings,  I don't do private PMs and don't ever intend to, except to mods or Ken if necessary for question about site like donations ,etc, I do understand why you may think this though. Hope your doing good today.
I figured 'chat room' would be open, while PM are private. Last time I got into private PMs on another site was about 15 yrs ago. Someone said I said something I didn't, since I didn't know how to prove any different, I ask my son to log in and put all my PMs in public. Since then, I don't do any PM for any reason, I politely ask to keep it in public. I like to think although I may get radical, I think I'm honest and don't gossip behind peoples back.
Excuse me for butting in but chat rooms are live conversation as far as I know. I don’t think there are any here but please, correct me if I’m wrong.
Lois Winters first mentioned it, just before Marie responded and asked about chat rooms. I have no idea why @Lois Winters thinks there is chat rooms either, so she would have to explain why she thought we have them here.
Well, we do have messages that can be open to all, not just private. But I thought that is kind of what the forum is.
I need to clarify my last post, PMs are fine long as no one tries to use them for some kind of political revenge, and since I can get political or strongly disagree sometimes, those I disagree with can take it personal.

I created the thread solely for the purpose of checking in on others, was the only point I was making.
The reason I mentioned chat rooms is that someone who recently joined mentioned he was checking out some chat rooms on this forum. So, this was news to me, as no one corrected him at all.
I did talk to someone who Suggested I try to get back into some normal routines doing things I like, I have started doing this, And it has helped.
