Hitler killed himself on April 30, 1945, essentially ending the war in Europe as Germany surrendered shortly thereafter. VE Day was declared on May 8, 1945.
Hitler sure caused a lot of suffering and death before he left. Some say he didn't kill himself, he moved to another country under another name. I don't know.
It's not absolutely certain that he did die in Berlin. Many Germans escaped to South America and it's very possible that Hitler did too.

Only a senior who has lived through the change is fully aware of it, but to the young it's just another day. It's a downward spiral. I wonder if it's just a natural phenomena like the fall of the long lived Roman Empire or is it being engineered. Glad I won't be around to see where it goes.
I think some of the younger generations are starting to realize what is happening. Many, even seniors, don't realize all that changed to create this mess. Seniors DO remember "how it used to be" though.

Trump will really have a place in history, what with the weaponizing of the justice system, the corruption of and fear the Democrats have, that now,when they see what they have done is not working, they still need to get rid of the choice of half the country or face their exposure. They are creating a law to take away Trump's secret service which all former presidents have had. I bet Biden would sign it.
It breaks my heart to see what is being done to our country. The Democrat establishment and many Republicans are disgraceful in what they do. If we don't get this under control some way, I fear for the future of our children, grands, and others. A dictatorship is forming--or has already formed--and we will rue the day we allowed it.
