Well we've all lived over 50 years. That's some accomplishment isn't it living over 50 years on Earth! There are many good things about life too that we've all experienced. If you could change just one thing in this world after living over 50 years what would it be? I'll start first, the one thing I would like to change in this world is poverty. I'd like to see everyone be born rich with a million dollars to start with in a bank savings account. Though this is whimsical I still wish I could stop poverty forever!
Poverty is related to over-population, IMO. Without detailing this opinion, suffice to say that if one looks at the most highly densely-populated areas of the Earth, there will be found poverty.
If I could change one thing in this life it would be Death without Pain...that no-one dies in Agony...
I could do anything I would make a law saying if a politician told a lie he would go to jail without trial or any repeal.
I'd like for people to be more giving and caring. It seems that over my lifetime I've seen a distinct decrease in civility, respect and caring about others. I don't think people should be mandated to help others, but I do think they should want to help others. It irritates me to see people slamming doors in the faces of others, cutting them off in traffic, at cash registers and elsewhere, and being rude and/or cruel to others.
Lets see, if I could change something in the world, it would be: That the GLT community wouldn't push on everyone to accept their way of life. If this is the kind of lifestyle they chose, that's entirely up to them, but I sure don't want to see a picture/news article online of two men kissing at their wedding and holding hands. If I want to accept their way of life, ok, but if I don't.........don't push me to! IMO Everyone to respect law enforcement. When an Officer tells a person to do something.......do it! Have people stop using the "f" word, like it done so much today. That's pretty much it for me.
If I could change one thing it would be this: I would change the "turning away from God and His Truth in the Bible" into "turning back to God and His Truth in the Bible"....I believe this is the root problem of all that is going wrong in the World.
That's a thought provoking question which I would have to say 'I don't know.' I can't get pass that anything that I would want to change will be changed again somewhere along the line.
I wish the last verse of the Psalms were true around the world. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!
