The media is already using the news of Biden's dropping out of the race to bash Trump.

"Trump started off talking about Unity (at The RNC Convention), then want back to the divisive lie of the 2020 election being stolen."

And this news sure sucked the oxygen of the assassination attempt out of the room, huh?

The whole month before the DNC is going to be interesting. Almost anything could happen. I hope the popcorn makers are working hard.

Joe Manchin would be better than Kamala but the party wants radicals now.

Yvonne, it seems possible that it's a Democrat coup and Biden doesn't really know what's going on but Jill does. Someone on another site suggested that the party bought the Bidens out. I don't know where that money would come from, maybe the liberal billionaires or maybe a foreign source.

The reports are now saying that Biden’s schedule for the next week (at least that long) has been completely cleared, no public appearances, or anything on there now.
It sounds like no one has seen or heard from Biden since he was in Nevada and said he had covid and was going to go back to his home in Delaware and stay in seclusion while he recovered. That was several days ago, so many people are asking for proof of life, because this seems such a strange way for him to announce he is leaving the campaign.
It should have been done in person on live television, not a tweet on Twitter.

This is almost beginning to look like what happens in some of those third world countries, where people just disappear overnight. I do not think Biden should be president, but I think that this is not how his campaign should end, and possibly his whole presidency, if they use his health as the excuse.

I am not so sure that Kamala is just going to slide in smoothly, either; but they have the ballot issues and the campaign money that can probably only transfer to Harris and not a different candidate.
This whole thing is shaping up to a complete disaster for the Democrats.

A bit of prognostication on my part but the reason he “won’t show up” is that there’s not going to be a debate between Trump and Harris.

Pelosi, Schumer and Obama are Not endorsing Harris and why?
The three, and others of the DNC are enacting a soft coup in which there will be no primary but instead, a candidate of their choosing will be on the Dem ballot.
Note: Is it Constitutional? I personally do not think so be we’ll have to consult with the Supreme Court to find out for sure.
That is, if this coup is even brought up before the SCOTUS.

Harris can run if she wants to but we have to remember that the only reason she was picked for VP is that she checked off a few boxes on the DEI list and not because she’s the sharpest knife in the drawer.
I mean, she had to drop out of her own bid for the presidency when she couldn’t even get a good showing for the primaries leading up to the 2020 elections. Matter of fact, she was dead last in the polling for that primary.

No, I’m still thinking that Barack wants another turn in the Oval Office and the only way he can sit in that seat is if Michelle warms it up for him and runs for the Presidency.

    Good morning to all-

It doesn't matter who the Democrats put up for President. Whoever that person is, that person will be so much better than that vile, mean, lying Donald tRump.
I don't trust ANY politician, but I trust tRump about as far as I can throw an anvil.

Folks, we can do better than tRump.

you all be safe and keep well- Ed

It appears that most, if not all, of the liberals feel the same way about Biden being gone as Ed does. It does not matter to them what person is the president of this country, or how qualified they are, as long as it is a Democrat.
They all follow their little slogan, “no matter who, vote blue”.

None of them cares whether Biden actually stepped down, or whether it was a political coup, and Biden was forced out, or if he is even still alive. No one has seen or heard from Biden since he left Nevada last week; but the only ones concerned that he was forced out of the campaign seems to be Republicans, who think it should have been done properly.
There is simply NO LOYALTY in these people !
They cheer him when he is there, and forget about him overnight if he disappears.

    Good morning to all-
Ms. Smith- With all due respect to you, you did not understand what I wrote. I never used the term "liberal" -which is a meaningless term to be sure. I only used the term "democrat" because it is the opposition to the former occupant and his minions.

I never said, "vote blue" I only said that we can do better than tRump, and we surely can.

I don't give a hoot in hell about either political party- or any political party, for that matter. I look at the individuals involved, and make my judgements based on t he words and deeds of the persons involved. And it's easy to make a judgement about Donald tRump- he's a selfish, mean, self-deluded, lying person born to every privilege and inherited power and he used this unearned power to hurt others, corrupt others, and to lie, lie, lie to further his own nasty desires.

    We can do better.

you all be safe and keep well- Ed

Sadly this is all true. The party that claims to be "defending democracy" has removed any voter input from their primary process and will remove it from the election process as well if they can. Barack et al. want to be dictators, and Barack even as much as said that when he left after two terms in the White House. He seems to be desirous of kingship. He wants command performances by entertainers in the White House--his palace--and would like to rule by fiat, not process. Dangerous times indeed!

Hope you notice you're NOT getting any "Likes" or replies. That mean, like us, most of this forum is for Trump to be next President. You don't like him, but many, many others in America do.

To say the least, this whole Presidential thing is getting more and more interesting by the day! Just how much of the Black vote will Harris get, compared to Trump? And, just who will Harris pick to run with her? Questions, questions, questions!!

If you’re replying to whom I think you are, I personally have him on ignore and I assume many others do also.
His notations of ill will cannot even be classified as rhetoric for indeed, rhetoric has to have some foundation for others to be swayed by the use of it.
    Nuff said.
