When Algore was running for president, he had an initiative that any government function the private sector could do should be contracted out to them to keep government small. I believe it was his A-76 initiative, if I recall correctly. It was really Election Year BS. I also recall when Carter tried to institute Zero Base Budgeting. That meant you did not just get to ask for "Last Year Plus x%," you had to present a plan for the next year and justify the dollars for it. Needless to say, that did not go over well.
People have been waiting to watch this interview for days now, and the followers on President Trump’s Twitter page have been going back up for the last few days, as the interview gets closer. He is up to 88 million followers now, and has also started his advertising campaign on Twitter. Elon said before that Trump calls him every now and then “just to talk” and they have good conversations. Elon has changed his views a lot since he acquired Twitter, and so has his mother, Maye Musk. She started out as a total liberal when I first started following her on Twitter, and as she has seen the liberals turning against her son and family, her views have shifted as well. If you want to hear the news first, and best, Twitter is definitely the place to do it ! In order for it to make sense, you have to follow people that you are interested in, so you can see their posts on the platform. if you start out with the more well-known people (Trump, Carlson, Catturd, etc), then you can pick up other patriots as they post, and this is how I built my following selection up. I also follow news that comes out right away on Twitter, and you get the news just about as soon as it happens. There is a free version, which is all I have, and also a paid version, which is mainly for people who are doing a lot of posting on Twitter.
@Yvonne Smith I follow links that others have posted, and all I can see are the original articles or vids. I cannot see and replies or comments. That only happened when it change to X. When it was Twitter I could see comments & the conversations. Do I now need an account to see comments? edit to add: Do people need an account to watch the interview?
I do not know when that changed, @John Brunner , because i am always signed in when I am on Twitter. I click on the post to see replies, and that shows me what anyone else has written on the topic, or at least from that post. I am guessing that the interview will be streamed by people on youtube, if not live, at least it will be on there shortly afterwards. It is going to be hosted on President Trumps page, but is in something called “Spaces”, and I am not sure what that is exactly. I have always just looked on twitter and found someone who was streaming it. Edit to add: I looked up Twitter Spaces, and it is basically a live conversation, as opposed to tweets. So, it would be kind of like a FaceTime phone call with no video, just audio, and then replayed on the persons Twitter page. If this is correct, we will not actually SEE Trump and Musk talking, we will hear them. If you can follow a link to twitter, maybe you can also watch the interview, but I do not know.
People who are secure in their positions always censor, so the purity of their awesomeness does not get lost in the mess. We can't have all those inferior ideas cluttering things up, can we???
Here is Trump chatting on his phone with Elon. I love listening to these guys, just talking like two good friends having a conversation together. Someone just posted on Twitter that “if Elon didn’t interrupt , Trump would just keep on talking until the End of Time”. He does love to talk !
