One might think that if Democrats honestly thought their policies were good, they wouldn't feel the need to lie about them all the time.
The tax on unrealized capital gains would cause absolute chaos in the stock market in addition to home ownership. Can you imagine being taxed to the roof when your stock value is up at the end of the year only to have it plummet during the summer? Would you then get a tax refund or would Kamala and Obama (who originally brought it forward) just keep the extra money? Would you have to file an amendment every time the value changed? I can understand a tax on REALIZED gains not currently taxed (but I would like it, especially on primary residences), but I don't understand any tax on unrealized gains.

The first thing they would do if they again get control of all three branches will be to eliminate the filibuster. That would remove all power from the Minority. After that, they will stuff the courts and open the country to even more immigration. Raising taxes, of course, is on the agenda as well. They figure they would have two years to destroy the country before the populace reacts but by then it would be too late. THAT is why they don't want to talk about policy.

You are correct in that no one will ever make everyone happy. I’ve never seen a Master Chef make a couple hundred people totally happy much more so a President leading a country of around 350m and climbing. That said, it is indeed your right to do as you wish but as a small note, you won’t be voting for Harris. Kamala is the facade so to speak but you’ll be voting for Pelosi, Schumer, Obama and Soros and whomever they put into position as cabinet members and others who can be manipulated by wealth. It’s no secret that Biden and Harris are puppets and also no secret that every main stream publication wanted Biden to drop Harris just 2-3 months ago when Joe said he was running for the Presidency. It is only since Joe Biden was forced out that Kamala is being treated like the virgin Mary by the left wing media; a media she won’t even sit down and talk with and explain what her platform is and the planks on that platform. No one knows what she is really for or against. What she was for a few months ago she is now against and what she was against she is now for. If elected, Kamala wouldn't have any more to say about what happens in her Administration than Biden has. She would simply be a shill for whoever has been running the country into the ground for the past few years. Like Biden, she probably won't even be told what "her" policies are.
