Here, is my latest distraction: using AI app(s) to learn new languages. Took a couple years of German and Latin back in highschool but my leanings now are Indonesian, Mandarin, Portugese and a couple more. This "passion," as per usual, will be queued with the plethora of other tings.

So how does the AI path differ from traditional language learning paths?

AI offeres one-on-one on demand chats where the AI carries on a conversation as a phone call or merchant or casual speaking and critiques your pronounciation and grammar, etc.
The voices are good, can be of either sex and age depending upon which one is most comfortable conversing with. The nicest thing is the convenience in that you can do it anywhere and anytime you like.

There are quite a few, but I am looking into talkpal.ai and a couple others.
