That's odd that the radiologists do not mention it. I had a cyst found on my kidney during a CT scan looking for other stuff 6-7 years ago (it ended up being nothing), but it gets noted on every single CT scan that I've had since.
I read that when you have kidney stones, only one kidney produces them. If you lose that kidney, the other one starts producing stones. It makes one wonder how your system directs the minerals to the one kidney. Our systems are beyond miraculous.
Right now I'm sitting in my car in the parking lot of Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital waiting for my wife who's in there getting a chest x-ray. She's had chest nodules since she was treated here for breast cancer, they've been monitoring them since then. She's been a nervous wreck all morning and last night about this test. Tried to calm her, but all she could think about is the "what ifs".
Beth, Thanks, I thought she was having a X-Ray, she had a CAT-SCAN. I got my Medical Degree from watching Drug Co. commercials on TV.
My wife's CAT SCAN results were no change since last test. She was relieved. About a month ago we hired our Granddaughter's boyfriend to build us a shed. We're getting anxious to get this done so we can store stuff/set it up before the cold weather comes. We described what we're looking for, and him and a friend of his designed the shed. We're told they're having a problem getting some of the materials. My wife went with my daughter and grandkids yesterday to an animal farm "out east" they came home with some really beautiful potted Mums, to decorate the front of the house. I didn't go because of physical problems too many things at one time, plus my walking lately it's been very painful.
My daughter herded all of us outside last night to see the Northern Lights. My grandkids, we're excited. All I could see was a pinkish sky. My oldest grandson at one point shouted, " Look a UFO." Before we could see it, it went behind some trees. I said it was probably a shooting star, but he wanted to believe he saw a UFO. My daughter is taking my three grandkids upstate to see Santa's Workshop at the North Pole. My wife is going with them as well as my middle daughter, who lives about 4 MI away. The first time I went to this attraction, I was 13. The last time I was there was when my children were young, which was about 45 years ago. They will be gone for 2 days, leaving me to fend for myself. I don't mind because it will be an important baseball weekend. I've been thinking about what take out to have while they're gone. My wife always says to me how come you're always thinking of food, she's right of course today's a perfect example of that. This morning, I feel sick with nausea and a real bad upset stomach, but I'm still thinking of food. I just took an antacid. Maybe that will help.
I dry mint and when I have an upset tummy, I grab a sprig. Maybe you can look around your area and see some.
Thanks, I had a pot of peppermint growing. I have not seen it since we're back in the house. The antiacid is helping, I also took 1/2 Imodium pill. My grandkids wanted Wendy last night, an hour after I finish the hamburger my system was acting up. I used to love all the fast food hamburger places lately, most don't agree with me, my system must have changed. I just read over 9 million pounds of beef and chicken is being recalled because of possible lesteria contamination. Most of it was sold to Restaurants and food service companies.
