Hedi, have you tried fruit bars in your oatmeal? We buy coconut and strawberry. NonGMO and sugarfree

It sounds like they are just a frozen fruit bar.
Are they from just juice, or is there other ingredients in the fruit bars ?
My Ninja Creami makes fruit sherbets and ices from plain fruit, but we have not tried doing that yet. But you can take a can of peaches and freeze it in the ninja container, and then the ninja will blend and spin it into a creamy peach sherbet. You can do it with just about any kind of fruit, like pears, pineapple, watermelon, and others.
We will probably try making that next summer, but for now, we have just been making the protein smoothie ice cream.

The Whole Fruit are made with real fruit and the Outshine is made with chunks of real fruit.
Or at least that's what they say. I buy strawberry's and blueberry's, rinse them then put them in diluted vinegar, then rinse a couple more times. to clean and hopefully sterilize.
Yvonne I only do this once a month or so, then freeze in glass containers.
I like smoothies and do make them now and then. Our watermelons from store don't taste as good as they use to, not sure why that is. Thanks for suggestions.

Eggs & Onions Chop a slice into pieces and sauté in butter on low heat until translucent DO NOT BURN. Add 2-3 beaten eggs to the onions stirring until solid. I'm 76 and have been eating this since my dad introduced it to me. LUV it!!

When I was a kid we had Peter Wheat bakery trucks that would stop by in the morning and sell pastries that were out of this world. Seeing that truck come in was better than seeing Santa Clause putting gifts under the tree.

I like eggs with onions, too. I usually cut up green onions for the milder taste. Then a bit of cheese doesn't hurt. Oh, and some ham. :D

Banana, peanuts, and coffee. Pop a half dozen lightly salted peanuts, take a bite of banana, no utensils necessary.

The last bananas I bought (9) are very sweet. Oatmeal and bananas another day.

Steven, I basically do the same thing for our lunch. I need protein for weightlifting to control diabetes, except I also use brown rice in the mix and at least 8 eggs.
I cook a pot of brown rice to freeze in individual containers so its ready when I cook..

    2 cups rice,
    8 or 10 eggs,
    chopped onion,
    hot sauce

I made quiche this morning for the first time in my life and it was very good. Half & half, eggs, swiss cheese, parmesan cheese, bell pepper, onion and diced diced ham. Net time I need to remove some of the moisture from the onions and bel pepper. I don't know how many calories are in it but then I don't want to know.:)
