When we went to the Minnesota car show recently, My family looked for our 1963 Plymouth Valiant. I fixed the transmission for my mom with a screw driver.

Mary that is something else. Closest thing to my putting engines together was on GM Auto Assenbly line, now robots do most of those jobs.
!963 Jake said must have been a slant 6 engine? Transmissions are complicated.

So true. I wish I had not been so hasty with my recent car purchase. It is a beauty, but so many computerized functions can be a nightmare. I'll keep it until the warranty expires but then it will be traded for something more "analog." (If I last that long.)

Beth one of my daughters did the same thing, she sold the car and bought one she likes.
Too many bells and whistlers just mean more things to breakdown. of course with my old van and Jakes older truck, we don't have that problem. Just regular upkeep.

I'll keep mine as long as it has the bumper-to-bumper warranty. If I tried to sell it now I'd take a bath since I'm sure it lost half its value when I drove off the lot.

I'd still be driving my 1990 Volvo if Bambi had not jumped in front of me.
