There are more than 45,000 Christian denominations globally. Why hasn't God informed Christians as to what the "true faith" is ? This is evidence that humans created God & religions. If these people are getting "revelations" from the same God, there would be uniformity in religion.

The "true faith" is following, obeying, and attempting to be like Christ. People try this in different ways. Often they fail.

    I have a question Paul.
Why are you so curious as to why we believe what we believe?
In my way of thinking, you’re either looking for validation for your own beliefs or you are opening up to the idea that there just might be more to this universe than you presently believe.

Whilst you are pondering over the question, God did inform all mankind what to believe through Christ Jesus.
There’s even an anthology with 66 books filled with some 31K verses that helps us out but what people do with those verses pretty much falls into the realm of “free will”.

Personally, I have no “denomination” and just play it straight with the Father and if I have any questions I open the manual and behold, the answers.

Some people just like to argue. I was considering the thread title again and would like to say that I am not an atheist and also that I do not "reject" atheism. I don't reject anyone's beliefs because a person's beliefs are their own. I have enough to worry about trying to sort things out for myself... and no time to argue with people who just want validation.

I don't need to be validated and I won't be coerced into believing/non-believing. It just is what it is and I suppose I'll still be wrestling with it on my death bed.

A few days ago some Christian boys were protesting at Kamala's rally. One shouted Jesus is King and the other Christ is Lord!

Kamala shouted back, "You're at the wrong rally." That may be the only time that woman ever told the truth. Jesus Christ wasn't welcome at that rally and the leader yelled it out for all to hear.

Paul's support of Kamala and his focus on atheism seem like a perfect fit.

A secular democracy (where the state neither persecutes nor favors any particular religion) seems like a good idea to me. Religion and politics don't always mix well. The regime in Iran is founded on religion and is notoriously oppressive. The Iranian people have no political rights.

I get what you are attempting to write but the word “secular” is antithetical to any faith based belief and the word Democracy is based on majority decisions.
On the other hand, a Constitutional Republic such as ours guarantees freedom OF religion (not from) no matter what belief system one chooses to live by.

But yes, I do agree that a Totalitarian Theocracy is oppressive in many ways and the reason why oppositional faith based people sought and still seek other lands such as this one so they could and can practice their faith openly and without persecution.

I used to do intense study of the Bible and doing so I looked for a scientific reasoning or kind of proof.
Some things came to mind but many I've forgot.
This one proved that only a supernatural power could know this at this time in history. No concept whatever back then about how the earth was positioned.

    Job 29:6
Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering. 7He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth upon nothing. 8He wraps up the waters in His clouds, yet the clouds do not burst under their own weight.…
    Berean Standard Bible · Downloa

Also this one about the constellations and their direction from earth, again, nobody had any knowledge of space or earths position.

    ion
    Meaning of Name: A constellation
    Strong's Concordance #H3685
The constellation Orion is commonly referred to as the great hunter. It is one of the brightest constellations in the earth's southern hemisphere.

Job mentions the making of Orion as one of God's magnificent works that testifies, in the sky, of his existence, power and wisdom. The Eternal also challenges the patriarch to use his own power to "loosen" the bands (fetters) of the constellation if he can!

The minor prophet Amos also mentions Orion as proof of the Lord's limitless creative powers.

Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.

    Job 38:1 - 3, 31
Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Gird up now thy loins like a man: for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me . . .

Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

    Amos 5:1 - 2, 6 - 8
Hear ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel. The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up . . .

Seek the Lord, and ye shall live . . . Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth.

Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is his name . . .

He hangs the earth upon NOTHING, isn't that amazing proof of all knowing God? He directs the brightest constellations towards earth. I have forgotten much but it always amazed me.

    The First Amendment says:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

This means that the state should not persecute religious believers, nor should the state impose religious beliefs or rituals on its citizens. This is a secular solution. Believers can practice whatever religion they choose, and nonbelievers can not practice, not follow a religion if they choose.

Of course, and I agree with this 100%. If taken the way it was intended of course.
