Got a good night's sleep last night; first in a while, "feels really good", now it's "much to do", not sure where to start. Foxy and Leo need a bath, the porch needs washing, floors need mopping, truck and Van needs wash and wax, Need to pull codes on Van, oil gauge on dash quit, but running fine, so I'm sure it's getting oil, house Northside wall, outside needs some painting, front vinyl siding need cleaning, screens and windows need cleaning, the list could go on and on, this is just to name a few of the things, "that need to be done". it never slows down, after "you've retired". Blessed are the ones able to keep up. :)

    Night view, of the "moon".

A little slow here so far; gonna, have to go to the grocery store today, already fed dogs, and let hens out to free range. I worked hard clearing vines, yesterday, I slept all the way through night with the 10 mg melatonin again, 6+ hours; so far, so good. Still working up my new list of things to do around here. Be back later on; and hope everyone here has a "blessed", day. :)

Got the grocery shopping done; was on here saying prices have doubled, but to be honest, I think they've tripled. Everything is more than it's ever been. Hope someone does something, to bring them down or it will be bankrupting all of us. When I was in check out, the woman running the register, looked at the woman bagging the groceries, and said to her;Can you believe this is $400.00.

First year haven't cleaned windows. If I can just sleep all night one night I may mop the floors, every day I vacuum them thinking today I need to mop, I use the vacuum cleaner on the wood floors, haven't used a broom in 20 years. I've been awake since 1am got up at 6am.
I'll try a small dose of the Melatonin tomorrow night.
Like Jake said lots to do. I did cut a large area of vines yesterday.

Being retired is not, "so bad"; I like that most of the time, you can pick what and when you work on something, unless it's an emergency thing, like the well, or vehicle, that you need for travel, hot water heater, or power, where you have to use generator or something like that. I like when there is no rush, and you get to pick and choose, "your poison". :D

"New day", so I have to figure what's going to get done today. So many things to choose from, it makes it hard to decide; what is most urgent. When things break down, it's easier to make the decision. I always have a certain routine, I have to do it, after getting up, like having coffee, two cups, feeding Foxy and Molly, letting chickens out to free range, and having breakfast. Then I rest a little, then go at it; whatever that "project" may be.

Be back later, to say, just not sure about the most important one. :)

Been staying busy, and I was going to put up a couple photos, but it says, "error", if you do; file too big, no matter how small, that you reduce it; so can't yet. I have some from the trail camera; I think they're pretty neat. I washed Foxy last night, was going to wash Leo today, but after cutting more vines, and then having to drive to town, on business; I put it off. I will do it tomorrow, and pull codes on Van, fix a new rattle under the right front end, "whatever it is"; have to crawl under it, and find out what's doing it. Wash and wax, clean the windshield with steel wool, to get water marks off. Busy, busy, busy.

    :)

Rattle on Van was where the stabilizer bar runs thru cross members, the bushing had backed out on rt. side vehicle, worked with it a little, and got it pushed back in, will replace it next time. Steel wool works really nice on the windshield too. Checked all fluids and topped them off. Still have to pull codes.Washed Leo, and "Foxy" "again", fleas want to get Foxy, "more" than Leo; so that's why she got bathed again. Marie mixed a potion she found online that an ex veterinarian had come up with, but it doesn't work. Thinking about getting the expensive vet flea and tick pill for them, I don't like giving them that, but fleas are bad for them too. Used to use #10 seven dust, it worked well on the dogs, for fleas and ticks, but for some reason the government made it to where you can only get #5, which doesn't kill the fleas.

We put some more of the fallen leaves in the flower bed. Finally there was a little rain yesterday, we needed it, it was getting too dry around here, and dusty too. Always have much to do. Back at it tomorrow. :)

Busy, busy; "Washed", dog beds, porch and screens too. Pulled more vines, and did some more leveling of the trail, that I had cut a week ago. Soon get back on Van, and bake Marie her b-day cake. So far nothing is really breaking down; I'm so "happy", about that. Deer come out and look at me in the mornings, while I'm sitting on the porch having my coffee, the little buck came out on trail and when I waved at him; he "jumped back", then just looked at me and wagged his tail. I "LOVE", seeing them, they're sooo pretty to look at. The doe had them here, a buck and doe. The father buck is a six point buck, and he's finally getting brave enough to come out and look at me, I just wave at him, and he wags his tail now, used to never see him at all, unless he flew by and jumped the fence. :D

This really is only some of the things, I've done "today", still, it's "not slowing down". :)

Still busy around here, killing the hell out of all these "vines". :D I've never seen so many and wonder where they come from. It's like an evasion or something. Still smoothing trails, and washing "Foxy", because every time she goes outside, she comes back with some fleas. Leo for some reason doesn't.

Still have buckets of lemons; Marie and I will have to do something with, like give some away, we ate some with fish, "whiting", tonight. Marie already has all kinds of piles of vines, out front property, inside fence, and yesterday; when she had made one, I pulled up and took them away, but today she said, as she was making new ones; don't you touch those piles; their my show off piles. :D

Is @Marie Mallery doing okay, @Jake Smith , we haven’t seen her on the forum for several days now and I am getting concerned. Hoping that she didn’t hurt herself with all the work she has been doing ?
Please let her know we are missing her !

I will; and yes she does stay busy around here; her morning walk, cutting and pulling vines, piling them and making me leave them alone. I like to pull them out to the field.

I am glad that you are back, @Marie Mallery , even if you are taking a break. We all do that sometimes, and then the rest of us wonder when our lost person is coming back. Since it is such a small forum, we are more like family here than it would be on a larger forum.
We are doing okay, but I am definitely feeling the colder weather, and dressing warmer. Time to fold up the outside recliner for the winter, because I am not going to be out there soaking up the sunshine until we get warm weather again next spring.

We had a stray kitten show up from somewhere, just a tiny little thing, smaller than a guinea pig, so she has been keeping us occupied. It took several days before we would catch her, and then she just purred and purred, she was so happy to be held and cuddled. We think she must have been someone’s pet and somehow got abandoned, or just lost, but no one has come around looking for a kitten.
Poodle does not know what to think about her, but they are starting to get used to each other, so they will hopefully become friends.

Yvonne this was Sheba, only had her a few weeks but she was so cute, precious.
Been a couple months now since she went to her new home.
Jake found her in back yard under the shed.

We got her this cat bed, she loved it.
