It's amazing just how much controversy/confusion is going on in America over this. There are those city/state officials that totally disagree with any deportation at all. There are those in America that say "It can't be done on the scale that Trump wants it done on."

Apparently there are lots and lots of Mexican's in America that simply don't care to become legal.

Will he really be able to do it? He states that he will start the entire program the first day in office. Will ICE vans pull up at certain businesses and do a "sweep/arrest" of illegal employees?

That's what they used to do. Frankly, I'd be satisfied if they closed the border, raided businesses known to hire illegals, and then deported illegals as we came across them, whether through arrests, requests for welfare, or when they tried to register to vote illegally. There will always be people to complain, but they weren't very concerned with our complaints when they were in power.

Pretty much what Trump said is that they will start deporting criminals and gang members first thing, since they are the most dangerous to the American people.
He is also going to stop all EBT, phone, housing, and other benefits and funds that are going to anyone who is an illegal.
People who have been here for some time, have melded into their communities and are working will not really be affected by the government cutting off all of the money sources, but the ones who are living in the provided housing and getting cash and food cards every month will be affected.

What they have warned the illegals is that they have the option of taking themself back home any way they want to do it, which would allow them to take belongings and move back to wherever they came from.
If ICE picks them up, they are just going to be loaded up on a plane and sent back to their home country, with just what they are wearing and nothing else.

I think that probably some of them that have vehicles and cash stored away and other belongings, will probably move themself out of the US, so they can keep whatever they have now and keep any family together.
The people that are here with families and have jobs will be the last ones that will be dealt with , and it is likely that they will be given some path to stay in the us legally, although maybe not a path to become a citizen.

I read what the estimate was of those sending money back to Mexico, and perhaps other South American countries, to support family, and it was an astronomical amount (billions of dollars). None of that money is going back into America!

Don't know what will happen on the day Trump takes office, but it will be highly interesting, when it comes to deportation/immigration.

Well, Los Angeles just became a Sanctuary City, although the "Border Czar" doesn't care. "If you don't want to help, just stay out of our way" he says, and means it.

From what I've read, there are a lot of illegal immigrants that don't want to become legal.

I am pretty sure that if there's anything Trump loves to do, it's take on a challenge. The more people doubt him, the more he accomplishes. I think it's pretty damn funny because he not only does what he says he's going to do, but goes beyond what anyone dreamed he could :D.

The losers of the world get so pissed off. President Trump will never be a loser, no matter what they throw at him. He's a great man, and I only hope History tells the whole truth about what he's done for the U.S.

This is the best reply I see, and it's the same thing I've been reading for the most part. I agree with doing it this way as well. There was so much bs started after Trump won, that you couldn't even see through it to the truth, but I know sooner (than later) we would here Trump's decisions with the help of his team of patriots ;)

Currently there is another caravan of people, men/women/children, headed towards the border from South Ameria. Some 1,500 of them.

Sort of funny, but, before Trump was elected, it was said that many from Mexico and south wanted to get into the U.S., in case Trump was elected. After he was elected, many of those that were coming, turned around and headed back. Now, this caravan of people want to get into the U.S. before Trump is sworn in on January 20th.

The Nevada Attorney General stated that he will protect all residents of Nevada, no matter what their immigration status is.

Trump, and his Cabinet, will have their work cut out for them with this Deportation Program. Let's just hope that there is no "gun violence" done between the Deportation Officials and illegal immigrants that might resist being deported.

I'm hoping that the illegals will all make a beeline for the sanctuary cities, California, and other places where democrats have out the welcome mat. Then all Trump has to do is cut off all federal funding to those places and sit back to see what happens.

Hmmm. Maybe I should run for president; I'm old and have ideas. :D

Eric Adams in New York has changed his mind on illegal immigration and wants them out of his city. The mayor of Boston has now said she will defend all the residents of Boston against the 'evil Trump regime", so Adams now has somewhere to send his illegals. Boston is just a short bus trip from New York, and a whole lot cheaper tha trying to send them back to Texas and Florida. Illegal immigration is always great when it doesn't impact you.

I just read an article on how the Biden Administration has decided to change his immigration policy:
Biden administration loosens immigration restrictions ahead of second Trump term: ‘Last-ditch effort’.
One reporter said that Biden's "smooth transition for Trump", will be anything but smooth.

Oh, it's worse. Biden-Harris are urging deportation resistance using State and Local law enforcement.

US armed forces on the ground assisting Ukraine, Comcast ditching its hateful media outlets, pushback on Gabbard, and more.

Now I see the possibility of them using the International Criminal Court to take action against U.S. officials for depriving illegals of human rights if they deport them. Just theoretical so far.
