My daughter has been a fan of judy and liza since she realize what music was. When she was younger we brought a box of "Sara Lee" cakes & Flowers to one of her concerts for her. One of her songs was Sara lee. When my daughter handed her the goodies, she had my daughter go up on stage while she performed. My daughter made a good prop.
Yes she was, we've gone to a few of her concerts. 2 years in a row to see her at radio city music hall.
I used to really enjoy concerts mostly classic 60s early 70s pop rock, later rock. Teen in the 1860s and in my 20s in the 70s. I still enjoyed other era's of music too.
Closest I came to R show was when Mitzy did the streak on stage and Ray Stevens ran behind her in a body suit that looked like he was naked, lol. Don't have a video for actual performance but this is his she was singing.
I have that song on a 45 rpm. It came out in 1962 on the flip side of "I Left My Heart in San Franciso." I always liked it better.
Pretty song, I remember it well. Yes, about the same time the Beatles songs came out, my first record purchase was a $.99 Beatle single, I think it was, ' I Wanna Hold Your Hand'.
