Okay. Got a small problem with log in. The other day I couldn’t log in because for whatever reason the program didn’t recognize that cookies was enabled. It said I had to turn on cookies but when I did the research cookies was already enabled. I turned cookies off then back on and then proceeded back to the forum and was asked to log in. That was 3 days ago and I have to log in each time I come to the forum or even refresh the page. I check the “remember me” box each time but alas, to no avail. I can deal with it but it’s a pain in the posterior.
I’m pretty sure i did that a month ago but I’ll do it again. Maybe if I use Comet instead of Ajax it’ll last longer.
Bobby, did you check the box that says, remember me or stay logged in? I can't remember which one it is, but that's what I did so that I don't have to log on all the time.
Yup, about 20 times. What seemed to solve the problem was to disable cookies then enable them and then I cleared the history on Safari. It wasn’t an immediate solution but after a couple more times of logging in I stayed logged in.
I simply don't trust any PW Manager because thieves are constantly improving their ability to hack into everything. Recently I had two of my stock holding sold on my Schwab accounts. My PW is nowhere in my computer as I have every PW in a book I keep in my office. How they pulled it off is a mystery and Schwab was not a bundle of info after recovering my money. Lucky for me I happened to catch it the day after the sale.
