I guess we will know if Trump chooses Mike Rogers, an advocate of the very laws that were used to target Trump with lawfare, that Trump has been duped and is not the person we believed him to be.
I do not see that happening and Trump posted on X that he had never even considered choosing Mike Rogers, so I think that was just another one of the many rumors that seem to be floating around right now.

Is it just me, or does Trump seem more "presidential" this time? He has toned it down quite a bit, at least so far. I hope he is able to accomplish a lot of his goals for the country.
His near-death experience probably has him focused. And he's pissed at what is being done to this nation. But I don't think he's completely shed some of his "shoot from the hip" stuff. There has always been a method to his madness.
He does appear very tired in some of his appearances. I think he expects to be killed, but not before he accomplishes what he can.
I still fear for him, he takes too many chances. He won now he should lay low till he gets in office.
