@Don Alaska - people do not read the instructions. Your not suppose to drink and take gummies or any edibles . Plus, you should test drive it to see how much you require.I am pretty hefty gal now days and 1/8th - sometimes half of that is enough to help me sleep. It can aid in pain, but I was told by the site I buy from I can not claim it takes pain away in reviews. People are so dumb,at times. This stuff was intended for medicine purposes just like all other medicines. I doubt addictive..other than continued overuse might make you dependent.
I am only going by an extensive study done by the Chinese several years ago. Not much research regarding Cannabis has been done in the West as it has been illegal in most places for so long. The researchers found great variations in the congenital structure among people they studied (I don't recall how many non-Chinese people were included in the study), and that led to the substance being quite addictive in some people and not at all addictive in others. I have posted in the past about the extent of this study as it went on for years and years. The cannabinol receptor structure also made it cause cancer in some people and prevent it in others. The edibles stuff is based on stuff I myself have seen. Mostly older people who were new to the drug completely OD'd on the edibles and sometimes had to be brought to the ER by ambulance (or police car). Never saw younger people affected. Marijuana has been legal in Alaska for personal use since 1977, so we have more experience with it than any other state I suspect. The only other side effect I have seen in long-term heavy users (mostly smokers of stuff they grew themselves) is that it has led to decision-making problems among those people. They make a decision on something that makes no sense at all, and the decider is absolutely positive that they are correct. It is difficult to describe this, but it has led to many people here getting into financial and other difficulties. It only appears in long-term, heavy users. Casual users don't seem to be affected.
