Since the New Year is fast approaching, I thought I would take a moment to tell you about our One Minute With God, perpetual calendar that we have. It is from Dayspring and costs $10.99. (Amazon also has it) We have had it for quite a number of years and it has half the year in one side, and the other half on the other side. I'm sure you will "flip" over it! I want to be clear: I am not selling them! They serve as a constant reminder of God's amazing Presence on our lives. We keep ours over the kitchen sink, and I have to carry it up to my office, with my coffee and doughnut, when I share a reading with you. When He says, "Do not be anxious," we can be confident that He's got a way for joy and thanksgiving to replace feelings of fear and worry. It's up to us to ask for and receive His grace for the moment. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
